What is Zumba?
Pretty much the most awesome workout ever. Dance to great music, with great people, and burn a ton of calories without even realizing it.
Zumba is a Latin-style dance class (including salsa, merengue, cha-cha, cumbia, soca and samba), combined with hip hop and reggaeton, as well as international styles of dance like bellydancing, flamenco, Bollywood and African.
You can expect a lot of dancing, but don’t worry if you have no idea what you’re doing at first. It definitely gets easier the more often you attend class. Just watch the instructor, try the same moves, and have fun!
You will burn a TON of calories with the constant movement. Be sure to wear comfy shoes and bring a towel, it’s a workout!
Our instructor is Linda Williams. Linda is a past Sports Aerobics Champion, and was awarded Ms. Fitness Hollywood and Ms Fitness LA. in the 90’s. In addition, she created taught, and perfected the winning dance routine for the 2nd place National Dance Champion at Stars National Dance competition in 2011, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Today she uses her talents to develop amazing Hip Hop/Zumba style dance fitness classes that are easy to follow and torch calories!! You will have so much fun you won’t realize how hard you worked or where the time went!
